World Sight Day

World Sight Day

Thursday 12th October is World Sight Day
World Sight Day is an annual day of awareness which aims to focus attention on the global issue of eye health. We spoke to Jason Miles who since finding Supper Club has made the suppers a staple in his freezer and become a most valued customer.

Jason from Cheshunt, Hertfordshire was born totally blind and lives independantly. He has 2 daughters who stay with him every other weekend.

Q. Why do you order from Supper Club?
The Quality of the meals and ease of use. Not being able to see makes it very difficult to cook in the first place and you know that you can get really good quality meals that have got no additives, colours or preservatives added. These things really matter to me.

Q. How easy do you find the ordering process?
Dead easy, just pick the phone up, call Erin and off we go.

Q. How easy are the meals to cook?
Dead easy. I have a counter top fan oven and I put them in at 180 for 55 minutes I find they need longer in my oven to cook through. They’re really easy to dish out as well, the thing that really impresses me is that everything comes out of the foil container where as other meals I have had from supermarkets, everything sticks to the container and you can’t get it out no matter what you do, so here you are getting your money’s worth because you’re getting all the food on your plate.

Q. Which are your favourite meals?
All of them. I haven’t had one meal yet that I don’t like. They are superb and I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who is elderly or disabled or just anybody who just wants really good quality wholesome hearty British or Mediterranean fayre.
